Pass the Port
Day 1
Fly and transfer to hotel. His and Hers Facial. 5 Course Dinner with wine.
Late afternoon enjoy a relaxing “his and hers” facial Douro 02 with fresh grapes of the region or a simple massage; whichever you prefer.
In the evening enjoy a delicious five course dinner with wine.
Day 2
Harvesting and Grape Treading in Douro Valley.
Transfer to one of the wine estates where you will take a guided tour and the vineyards. Participate in the actual hand picking of the grapes prior to stopping for a traditional Douro lunch.
After lunch take part in the grape treading followed by some wine tasting. The harvesting is still traditional and you will tread grapes in the cellars with your bare feet!
Day 3
Morning at leisure prior to airport transfer after your romantic weekend away
Airport transfer at the end of your Grape treading in Douro Valley Portugal Break.
Take home a bottle of 2008 Douro wine and one bottle of the wine you treaded will be sent to you in 2012.

Extend your visit to explore Porto, a beautiful medieval town and a World Heritage site staying at Infante Sagres Hotel Porto’s leading boutique hotel.
You have already Picked and Treaded the grapes and now you can complete the process in Porto by visiting the famous Port cellars. You have many to chose from but we would particularly recommend Taylors due to its view or Sandeman with its interesting facilities and one of the best known Port labels.
Fabulous restaurants abound in Porto but we would particularly recommend Shis restaurant which has great food in an amazing location on the beach. This is a very popular destination and so must be prebooked early.
You also have the contemporary Serralves Art Museum to visit with an amazing garden , a fun twenties house and often excellent international exhibitions.
