“I’m exhausted but definitely wouldn’t have missed any of it- it was action packed and thrilling”

Tiger Safari & Golden Triangle Tour Helpful Information

India is a country which will enchant you with her beauty and diversity, delight you with her colourful pageantry, enrich you with her culture, embrace you with her warmth, and overwhelm you with her hospitality…a land where the ancient and the contemporary exist side by side, where thousands of brilliant images fill the soul with wonder and where quaint and startling contradictions juxtapose to lend an extraordinary vitality, texture and poetry to life.

The ancient land of mystery, palaces and kings, romance and intrigue, nobility and grandeur. A land steeped in a tradition of services and privileges to royalty, which are now accessible to visitors. A land which has the largest Tiger population in the world. There are not enough adjectives to convey the contrasts and magnificence of India.

The challenge has been to pick out the best and allow you to construct a programme that fits in as many of the sights and experiences as your time and budget allow.

When to visit India

Oct to March, with the perfect time being Dec-April when the vegetation has died back a bit and so the tigers are easier to see and it also not too hot. Please note that from mid-December till end of the January it gets misty in Agra and the Taj Mahal remains covered by dense fog in the early morning and so a Sunrise trip is not advised.

The Tiger park is closed June-Sept due to the Monsoon season, and whilst open in May the heat can reach 45 degrees Celsius and so it is not recommended
