Luxury Lapland Holiday
DAY 1
Fly to Swedish Lapland. Dinner and relax in Northern Lights Hot Tub
Fly to Kiruna in Swedish Lapland where you will be met and transferred to Máttaráhkká and kitted out with your complimentary Arctic Clothing for your short break to Lapland. Afternoon at leisure
This evening kick your break off in relaxing style with a Lappish dinner and hot tub experience. From the outdoor hot tub on the roof top relax and enjoy the star filled night sky and with a little luck even see the northern lights dancing above you. If the 35-40 degree water isn´t enough enjoy a traditional sauna in the special relaxation zone.
To complete the evening you will be served a a 3-course Lappish dinner before/after you get into the hot tub

DAY 2
Husky Dog Sledding in Wilderness. Evening Northern Lights in Abisko
After breakfast continue your Lapland short break with a day out in the wilderness driving your own sled dog team ( 2 people per team). Glide over frozen lakes and through woods enjoying the beautiful snowy landscapes around you. Stop for a wilderness lunch before a return journey back to base.
Early evening transfer to Abisko, the Northern Lights Capital of Europe. Enjoy a delicious 3 course dinner at Abisko Mountain Lodge prior to taking the chairlift up Mount Nuolja to the Aurora Sky Station, which offers visitors a panoramic view over Lapporten, the Abisko Alps and Tornetrask.
During the winter nights this is, dependent on weather conditions, one of the best places on earth for consistent sightings of the Northern Lights.
Return to Kiruna late evening and overnight at Mattarahkka Sami Lodge
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

DAY 3
Day Sami Culture with Northern Lights Snowmobile Adventure
Enjoy a hearty breakfast prior to pick up by Håkan your Sami guide.
Håkan will take you to Rávttas, a small Sami village 20 km west of Kiruna, close to the mountain range. He will introduce you to his reindeer herd that are kept in a corral during the winter months. Learn about the traditional Sami lifestyle as practiced today and yesteryear. Learn how to Lasso the reindeer prior to the highlight of a reindeer sled ride in the forest.
Enjoy lunch with smoked meats (suovas) and bread (gahkku) aound the open fire in a Sami tepee (lavvu) while Håkan imparts the history and culture of the Sami people.
This evening after dinner enjoy a northern lights snowmobile adventure with Mikko. Get right out into the wilderness away from light and hopefully with a bit of luck you will have the aurora flashing above you.
Return for hot drinks and the rest of the evening at Leisure.
