Morocco Luxury Adventure Holiday

On arrival in Marrakech you will be met at the airport and transferred to your Riad to start your luxury Moroccan adventure holiday.

Start your Morocco short break with an early morning 1 hr Hot Air Balloon flight to fly over Berber villages with Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains as a backdrop. Afterwards visit some of the Berber villages in a 4WD for a glass of tea with a local family.

This afternoon discover Djemaa El Fna square, the pulsing heart of the city that becomes a medieval style entertainment area with jugglers, story tellers, musicians, and fortune tellers. You will also visit the evocative Medina and the Souks which are the most colourful and lively in Africa, but be prepared to haggle!

This evening go to Al Kasbah for the spectacular Berber show and feast. Here you will see dancers, musicians, acrobatics and of course the famous horseman with their Arabian Stallions.

Today you take an adventure by land-cruiser via the Tichka pass in the heart of the Atlas mountain chain to visit the Kasbahs of Taouirt Tiffeltout and Ait Benhadou, the most spectacular fortresses in the south of Morocco.

You will continue to Ouarzazate to stay at the luxurious Dar Ahlam in the Oasis of Skoura that was once part of the Sultans hunting ground.

This 19th Century Kasbah has been converted to the very highest standard combining traditional Moroccan vales with French chic. Its eight suites and three villas are superbly decorated.

Here you can take camel rides, go mountain biking, horseback riding or take cookery classes. You can also take exclusive excursions with a guide driver in a 4 x 4 to explore the Ourika Valley to see tiny villages clinging to the steep hillsides, rocky landscapes merging with the ubiquitous desert, or the dramatic Dades Gorge and Todra Canyon.

Otherwise simply relax and enjoy the heated swimming pool and Hamman together with Spa treatments available. All activities, except 4 x 4 safaris, are included.

The Kasbah is a welcoming environment for those seeking a stunning setting. The Kasbah du Toubkal is not a hotel in the traditional sense; it is more an extension of the hospitality that stems from the home of the Berbers who run it.

Hiking in the High Atlas Mountains is one of the best possible experiences in Morocco. Regardless of level of fitness this area is accessible to all as there is a wide range of trekking possibilities, from a short ramble through the surrounding villages to more demanding treks.
