The Saadian Tombs were sealed for centuries until their rediscovery in 1917.The tombs are magnificently decorated with colorful tiles, Arabic script and elaborate carvings.

The Bahia Palace was built in the 19th C combining both Islamic and Moroccan style. Set up by the Grand Vizier of the Sultan for his concubines it is certainly impressive with its vast courtyard.

A beautiful relaxing spot is at the Menara gardens built to the west of Marrakech with the central basin irrigating the surrounding olive groves and orchards.

At Ben Youssef Medersa see buildings covered in an abundance of decoration: carved cedarwood, exquisite stuccowork, and colorful zellij tiles, similar to the Alhambra palace in Granada.

This afternoon discover Djemaa El Fna square, the pulsing heart of the city that becomes a medieval style entertainment area with jugglers, story tellers, musicians, and fortune tellers.

The Dar Si Said Museum in Morocco is housed in an opulent palace that is a delight to explore. You will see strong Hispano-Moorish decorations, exquisitely decorated doors and window frames, stunning cedar wood intricate carvings, and a reproduction of a bridal salon.

The day tour will finish with a stroll and relaxation at the Marjorelle gardens where luxurious plants from the five continents are presented in an enchanting framework.

After a rest at the Riad you will be picked up for an hour and a half horse carriage tour around the walls of the old city before dinner at the Yacout restaurant. This grand old palace wih gleaming lanterns, richly stained glass windows and marble pillars, waterfalls and a roof terrace is a stunning setting for dinner.
