Marrakech & Atlas Mountains Break

On arrival for your Marrakech short break you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

This evening start your special weekend away by attending a traditional Berber show and feast at Al Kasbah. Here you will see dancers, musicians, acrobatics and of course the famous horseman with their Arab Stallions and dare devil riding.

Start your Marrakech weekend break at dawn taking a 1 hr balloon flight to fly over Berber villages with Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains as a backdrop. Afterwards visit some of the Berber villages in a 4WD for a glass of tea with a local family.

This afternoon your private guide will introduce you to Djemaa El Fna square, Marakesh’s pulsating heart with its medieval style entertainment area with jugglers, snake charmers, storytellers, musicians, and fortune tellers.

Venture along the desert track roads of the Kik plateau and the lake of Lalla Takarkoust in a 4WD.

Head into the mountainous road of the Ouirgane valley and the village of Asni to reach KasbahToubkal at the foot of Mt Toubkal, North Africa’s highest mountain for your 2 night stay in the Atlas Mountains.

Hiking in the High Atlas is one of the best possible experiences in Morocco. Regardless of level of fitness this area is accessible to all as there is a wide range of trekking possibilities, from a short ramble through the surrounding villages to more demanding treks.
