Vienna New Year on Majestic Imperial Train
Vienna is a wonderful place for a New Years Eve celebration. Recreating the splendour of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy on the Imperator Express which will stop at midnight on a bridge over the Danube to watch the fireworks and combined with a Horse and Carriage city tour, and a concert at either the Kursalon or the Hofburg makes sure your 2011 starts on a high!

Day 1 - 30 December
Fly Vienna and Private Transfer to hotel for your New Year Short Break in ViennaOn arrival your driver will be waiting at Vienna Airport to transfer you to your chosen hotel for you to start your Vienna short break over New Years Eve.
Day 2 - 31 December
Fiaker Horse and Carriage city tour, New Years Eve on the Majestic Imperial TrainStart your weekend luxury break with a Fiaker horse carriage for a ride through Vienna's old town streets and discover the city's most important sights. Pass by Saint Stephens cathedral, the Hofburg Imperial palace and the attractions of the Ring boulevard.
A private transfer will take you to the start of the train journey and your evening. Toast the New Year as you travel back on an Imperial journey capturing the grandeur of the Habsburg era aboard the Majestic Imperial Train.
Spend New Year being taken through the Vienna night enjoying a gourmet dinner. At midnight stop on one of the bridges spanning the Danube, where you can marvel at the excellent view and magnificent firework display. Afterwards join in a midnight waltz high above the Danube to the familiar ring of Strauss Blue Danube.
There will be live music in the piano bar until the arrival of the train at Viennas train station “Wien Sud” at about 2.45 am, but you can hop off at anytime from 2am after your New Year celebrations.
