"We didn't see the lights and do you know we really don't mind. The activities were such a great laugh and the guides were fantastic. Guy loved every minute of his 40th birthday trip and wants to return to see the lights and try some other activities. We want to take some of our other friends and family"

Northern Lights with Stockholm Mini Break Trips Information

There are few parts of Lapland that posses the majesty of Kireuna and Abisko. Surrounded by mountains and Lakes the drama of the landscape fires the imagination.

And it is not only this that lures people. The region is blessed with a very unique climate with a very high percentage of clear nights. This makes it the best place in Europe, and many argue in the world, to see the Northern Lights.

Weekend a la Carte pioneered the opening of Abisko Sky Station for dinner and northern lights viewing and after many requests we now offer this break based at Abisko Mountain Lodge - allowing those clients who want to really maximise their opportunities of seeing the Northern Lights to do so.
