Northern Lights Special Holiday

Fly to Kiruna in Swedish Lapland where you will be met and transferred to your hotel and kitted out with your complimentary Arctic Clothing.

This evening enjoy a night out searching for the Northern Lights on snowmobiles with dinner cooked by the guide over an open fire in a Sami Lavvu (tepee). Overnight in Hotel Arctic Eden.

Continue your Northern Lights Holiday by travelling out into the wilderness driving your own sled dog team, gliding over frozen lakes and through woods, enjoying the beautiful wilderness scenery around you.

Stop for a wilderness lunch before a return journey back to base.

Morning guided tour of the world famous Ice Hotel and the SAMI settlement where you have the opportunity to learn about the local culture and interact with reindeer. Lunch is at the Settlement in an authentic Lavu.

This evening transfer to Abisko Sky-station, widely regarded as the best place in the world to see the Northern Lights.

Enjoy a delicious 3 course dinner at Abisko Mountain Lodge prior to taking the chairlift up Mount Nuolja to the observatory which offers visitors a panoramic view over Lapporten, the Abisko Alps and Tornetrask.

During the winter nights when it is dark it is possible to see the Northern Lights dancing in the sky around you from this fantastic vantage point. (Dependent on the correct weather conditions)
Return to Kiruna late evening.

Breakfast at hotel prior to wildlife Safari through a picturesque valley to Nikkaloukta. Passing SAMI villages keep a lookout for Moose, Reindeer, Arctic Fox and other wildlife which migrate to the valley during the winter months.

Enjoy morning coffee at Nikkaloukta prior to direct transfer to the airport for your flight home after your unusual romantic weekend away
