Prague is a city with over a thousand-year history. Often called the City of a Hundred Spires because of its many churches and towers, Prague is the chief commercial, industrial, and cultural centre of the Czech Republic. Unlike much of central Europe, the city was not seriously damaged in World War II and remains one of the most beautiful cities on the continent. Conflicts past and present give the city an eclectic energy. The atmosphere continually reminds us that monarchs and dictators have tried to possess this city for much of the past millennium.
Vienna, Austria’s capital city is considered by connoisseurs to be one of Europe's most interesting and certainly one of the most romantic. Its majesty is attributed to the Habsburg Dynasty, who left the Schonbrunn Palace as their lasting legacy. Walk in the footsteps of the Habsburgs, visit the splendid baroque Schönbrunn and Belvedere Palaces, or stroll along the magnificent Ring Boulevard and take a look at the heart of the former vast Habsburg empire, the Imperial Palace.
Prague is a year round destination but the Majestic Imperator only runs this journey on May 7th and Sept 3rd.
