Day 1: Fly to Naples. Self drive to Ravello. 2 Star Michelin Tasting Menu
Pick up your car hire in Naples on arrival and drive (1 1/2hr) to Ravello to your hotel.
This evening you have a wonderful treat in store dining at the Palazzo Sasso 2 Michelin starred restaurant Rossellinis.
Pino Lavarra the Chef worked at Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons in Oxford with Raymond Blanc before running the renowned Grissini at the Hyatt Carlton Tower in London, but is now back in Ravello with the goal to make the Rossellinis restaurant one of the finest Italian restaurants.
Weather permitting you will dine on one of the terraces looking down on the fishing boats 1,000 feet below!

Day 2: Day at Leisure . Attend Symphonic Ravello Music Concert in evening
Today is a day at leisure to relax and enjoy this stunning coastline or take one of the optional a la carte extras prior to attending a concert in the evening.
There is no better place to spend a beautiful evening than perched high up in Ravello listening to a concert with the Amalfi coast stretching out beneath you.
The Prestigious Symphonic Musical Festival takes place from 8th July to 27th August in the gardens of the Villa Rufolo, on the stage overhanging the rocks - Please see the programme available as a download but to summarise there are concerts most Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays with a few Tuesday and Thursday concerts thrown in as well.

This morning take a wonderfully relaxing 50 mins His and Her Massage at the Palazzo Sasso before driving back to Naples for your late afternoon flight home.

Today drive yourself for a full day exploration of the Roman city of Pompeii and the city of Herculaneum with a private guide, who will meet you at Pompeii.
Earth tremors in 79 AD would have warned the residents that something unusual was about to happen, but they regarded their majestic mountain as a gift from the gods and beyond suspicion. All this would change in less than twenty-four hours as both towns were destroyed and buried by the eruption.
This is a fascinating day as you stroll with your guide through the two ruined cities, stopping for lunch at Pompeii.

A La Carte Optional Extra: Half Day Vesuvius Hike with Private Guide
Drive to the volcano where a private guide will meet you to take you for your hike to the main cone of the volcano to look inside the “sleeping volcano”.
The volcano is 4,200 feet high, and on a clear day, visitors will ironically enjoy the peaceful and stunning view of the Bay of Naples and the tranquillity of the mountain. It is hard to imagine it caused so much destruction and death in the first century AD.
This is listed as a medium difficulty hike, is 3.5 kms long and should take @ 2 ½ hrs

The Catacombs were used from the emergence of Christianity until the 10th century and consist of broad arched passages hollowed out of the rock, containing niches which once contained bodies.
Many have frescos, with the highlight being a bishop burial chamber magnificently decorated with mosaics dating from the 5th century.
