Founded in 1703 by Peter the Great as a ‘window on the West’, and named in honour of St. Peter, St. Petersburg is a testament to the grandeur of Imperial Russia under the Tsars.
With its Imperial past, St. Petersburg is one of the most fascinating and beautiful cities to visit at any time of year. There is a feast of museums, galleries and palaces to visit, many amongst the finest in Europe, as well as theatre, classical concerts, the famous Mariinsky Ballet and an exciting and vibrant nightlife.
The Tsars Ball is an authentic replication of an actual Ball in the Tsars Era.
