Our Best of Lapland programme takes you from Lulea on the gulf of Bothnia to Narvik on the Atlantic coast of Norway.

The journey takes you right through Swedish Lapland and well north of the Arctic circle beyond which spectacular viewings of the northern lights are possible.

Visas requirements for Swedish Lapland

A passport valid for 3 months or more is all that is required for British citizens.

Departure Airport for Kiruna

London Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester and Edinburgh all provide a connecting flights to Lulea in Swedish Lapland via Stockholm.

Your return flight from Kiruna will connect you back to London and Manchester airports on the same day but will involve a night in Stockholm if returning to Edinburgh

Swedish Lapland Weather

Winter temperatures can vary quite dramatically between zero and minus 35 with wind-chill.

Clothing: We provide all arctic clothing for the duration of your stay. This includes overalls, boots, gloves and hats.

When to visit Swedish Lapland

Swedish lapland works as a destination from December through to mid April. However for the Best of Lapland we have to wait for the sea to totally freeze around Lulea before we can do some of the most memorable trips in Sweden over the ice.

We work mainly from Saturday to Saturday departures for the Best of Lapland trip but we can offer some flexibility.
