DAY 1
Fly to Lulea in Swedish Lapland. Meet & Greet and Overnight

Fly via Stockholm to Lulea. With so many flight connections, this town, situated on the gulf of Bothnia, is accessible from many UK airports.

On arrival in Swedish Lapland you will be greeted in the arrivals hall and given a short guided tour through Luleå to the Elite Hotel where you will be assisted with your luggage and check in.

Evening at Leisure. The hotel has excellent restaurants and bars.

DAY 2
Drive the Ice Road before Snowmobiling to the Ice Wall.

Enjoy breakfast before collection from the hotel for a day of pure exhilaration. Firstly drive on the frozen seas on the famous ice roads leading to Hindersön and Storbrändön in the Luleå archipelago.

At the end of the journey transfer to Brändön for probably the best snowmobile trip in Lapland. The pack Ice 4 hour snowmobile safari takes you straight to the endless pack-ice fields by the island of Brändöskär in the archipelago. Make stops to learn about life in the Archipelago and also try some ice-fishing. At Brändöskär, in view of 20 foot ice packs created by the wind on the frozen sea, cook lunch over the open fire prior to a visit to the old fishing village with its authentic cabins & small chapel.

Upon your return you will be driven to the Treehotel, the world's most original new hotel. The 5 themed tree rooms are set in pristine forest surrounded by stillness and wilderness.

Britta and Kent, who run both Brittas Pensionat and the Treehotel, are your hosts. Charming, caring and warm hosts they add the personal touch to this amazing hotel concept.

DAY 3
Day at Leisure - Overnight at the Treehotel

Enjoy breakfast in Brittas Pensionat before having a day at leisure. There are a range of activities that can be booked locally but you may just decide to check into your treehouse and relax in the Borreal forest with Lapland at your feet!

This evening enjoy dinner before retiring to your home in the trees!

Day 4
Husky Sled Dog Adventure and Gourmet Overnight Stay

After breakfast transfer to Sorbyn, a small village about 40 minutes from the Treehotel. Your musher and his purebred Siberian Huskies await to take you on a private tour into the wilderness of Swedish Lappland. Travel through the last pristine river valley in Sweden and have the chance to see reindeers running free on the trails alongside other wild animals.

The trails are the same ones the Sami people transported the iron ore with their old reindeer akjas (sleds) from mountain to coast. You will have the opportunity to mush the dogs for part of the tour, however, some of the time you will be driven by the guide.

Upon return check into Sörbyn guest house. This evening enjoy a gastronomic journey through the palates of Swedish lapland as you enjoy a dinner by the warmth of the fireplace from a chef who has worked in some of the best restaurants in Sweden.

Day 5
Visit UNESCO site of Gammelstad Prior to Flight Home

After breakfast your guide will collect you from the hotel and take you on a tour back to the airport via Gammelstad, the UNESCO protected town near Lulea.

In 1996, Unesco added Gammelstad Church Town to its list of heritage objects worldwide that are deemed irreplaceable to mankind. Gammelstad has one of the biggest and best preserved church towns in the world, with more than 400 Church cottages surrounding the medieval stone church.

Afterwards short drive to the airport and flight home via Stockholm.
