DAY 1: 6 February 2013
Fly to Venice to start your Venetian Masked Ball break. Boat Transfer to Metropole Hotel. Tasting Menu Dinner.
After arrival transfer by boat to your hotel to start your Venice Carnival short break. We recommend the Metropole but we have a number of options available.
This evening enjoy a Gourmet 5 course tasting menu at the Met restaurant in the Metropole hotel.
DAY 2: 7 February 2013
Costume Fitting and attend Tiepolo Masked Ball in historical costume
Morning appointment at the Atelier for your costume fitting for your Venetian Masked Ball. You will have pre-selected your costume from an on-line catalogue and this is to ensure it fits well and is comfortable.
Spend the day promenading around Venice in costume -one of the highlights of highlights of the Venetian Carnival.
Day at leisure to explore Venice prior to immersing yourselves in Venice of the 18th Century at the official and glamorous Tiepolo Ball-The Traditional Masked Ball of Venice. The candle-lit setting of Palazzo Pisani-Moretta, which overlooks the Grand Canal and is frescoed by some of the most outstanding Venetian artists, is breathtaking.
As you savour your welcome cocktail clowns, mime artists and jesters entertain. The master of ceremony calls you to dinner in the beautiful reception room for a very special meal to the backdrop of baroque music. The cat-walk show of the most special allegorical costumes of the Carnival will also entertain you.
After dinner a master of dance and orchestra will lead you through the historical group dances. The party goes on till the early hours when coffee and croissants will be served.
Water transfers will be booked so you can enjoy your arrival and departure from the Palace where the Masquerade Ball is held in style and comfort

Day at leisure. Boat transfer to airport after your Venice Carnival Short Break
Breakfast and day at leisure prior to boat transfer to airport after your romantic weekend away at the Venetian Carnival.
