DAY 1: 18 February 2012
Fly to Venice. Boat Transfer.
After arrival transfer by boat to your hotel to start your Venetian Carnival romantic weekend break. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the Venetian Carnival atmosphere.
DAY 2: 19 February 2012
Costume Fitting and attend Mascheranda Ball
Morning appointment at the Atelier for your costume fitting.
You will have selected your costume prior to arrival via an online catalogue and this is to ensure it is comfortable and fits well.
Spend the morning promenading around Venice in your costumes soaking up the atmosphere.
This evening attend the fabulous Mascheranda Masquerade Ball at the Venice Carnival
Held at the magnificent Palazzo Pisani Morreta on the Grand Canal you will be thrilled by an evening of music, fantasy, entertainments, colour and warmth with an international show of famous artists and performers. Our clients are all seated in the Grand salon with VIP Superior tickets- the top category ticket which means you will be seated in one of the few tables overlooking the entertainment.
The School of Historical Dances will instruct you on minuets and quadrilles, while in the Main Saloon surprises and games will be conducted based on the theme of the Party. A grand traditional Venetian dinner will be accompanied by a live classical music performance.
Water transfers will be booked so you can enjoy your arrival and departure from the Palace where the Ball is held in style and comfort.

After breakfast spend the day exploring Venice. This evening you can choose between:
Grand Canal Gondola Promenade to dinner in historical costume
An enchanting 30 minute gondola tour in costume prior to dinner in one of the best Venetian restaurants, the Antico Pignolo, hidden in a little alley serving traditional Venetian dishes.
OR:
Cotillon at Danieli
A fun afternoon with cakes and sweets in the magnificent lounge of the Hotel Danieli. The master of dance will teach guests the basic steps of the 'Cotillion' involving all in the mysteries of this graceful and ceremonious dance. You will also be able to dance minuets and quadrilles.
