Alternatively the unique two-person igloo cabins made of aluminium provide a front row view of the Ice Fjord. The igloos are located just a short walk from the hotel but in many ways they are in a totally different universe. The harsh nature comes right up to the door, and yet inside the igloos are modern and comfortable with electric heating, radio, TV, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and a small bathroom with a shower.

Hotel Reykjavik Centrum
The hotel is in the heart of Reykjavik and located in one of its oldest streets. The hotel renovated in 2005 dates to 1764, though it also spreads into new buildings constructed in the style of 1900 buildings.

During its construction, the remains of a Viking longhouse from the Settlement Period were found - now on display. Among the finds excavated at the site were Iceland's oldest human remains, dating from approximately 870 AD.
The hotel has 89 rooms, each fitted with modern amenities and all rooms have en-suite bathroom.
