This morning you will visit the Egyptian Museum of antiquities. With over 120,000 items in the museum you have plenty to entertain you including some beautiful papyrus from the ancient world.
However your main focus will be the artefacts from the final two dynasties of Egypt from the tombs of the Pharaohs and the Valley of the Kings, including the magnificent treasure of King Tutankhamun.
After lunch (not included) your private tour will take you to the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple of Chephren.
The Great pyramid of Giza is the oldest of the seven wonders of the world, and the only one to remain largely intact and will without doubt astound you with it’s size and engineering ingenuity, whilst the Pyramid of Chephren with its estimated 4.8 million tons of stone is bound to inspire .

Today you have a full day tour to visit Memphis “the ancient capital of Egypt” and its burial grounds of Necropolis of Sakkara. Here there are numerous pyramids including the “Step Pyramid”, as well as the huge statues of Ramses II
Afterwards you will visit the medieval fortification of the Citadel of Saladin with it’s Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. Finish with a wander around the world famous Khan El Khalili bazaars; Bring your best haggling skills which is all part of the fun of buying!

Take a full day excursion by car to visit Alexandria via the desert road. Today you will visit Alexandria where you will visit the National Museum (if open) (or the Greco Roman museum if the National Museum is closed) , Catacombs & the Roman triumphal column Pompey’s pillar.
The Catacombs are one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages and are unusual as the archaeological objects combine Pharaonic and early Roman styles. Alexandria National Museum contains around 1,800 artefacts that narrate the story of Alexandria and Egypt, whilst the Greco Roman Museum focuses on the Greco-Roman civilization contact with Egypt with some mummies and sarcophagus from the third century BC.
You will also visit the beautifully manicured Montazah gardens surrounding ex King Farouk’s Palace. These cover 150 acres and stretch all the way to the beach with many paddling pools to cool in before returning to Cairo early evening.
