Days 1 & 2 - Fly to Etosha NP to enjoy Morning and Afternoon Guided Game Drives

On arrival into Windhoek, guests will be met by their Pilot from where you will fly north towards Etosha National Park.

Spend 2 nights at Mushara Outpost in a canvas, wood and glass fronted luxury tent, fully inclusive.  The lodge’s main house is styled like an old farm house with high walls, corrugated iron roof and a large wrap-around veranda facing northeast to take advantage of shade. The ambiance is similar to that of a well lived-in house: friendly and extremely comfortable with a light feel to it.

Etosha National Park, proclaimed in 1907, is one of Southern Africa’s finest and most important game reserves. The park covers an area of 22,270 km² of saline desert and is home to dozens of mammal and reptile species, several amphibian species, 340 bird species and even one species of fish.

Morning and afternoon game drives into the Etosha National Park and/or Onguma Reserve will be a truly remarkable experience.

Reviews & Feedback

Just wanted to say how much we thoroughly enjoyed our safari holiday to Namibia. There is nothing I would change, the trip was exactly what we wanted it to be. We found the detailed itinerary particularly helpful, in fact invaluable, especially as it gave us detailed driving instructions, route co-ordinates for the SatNav and also estimated timings. We were hugely impressed!
We liked all the camps that Katharine chose for us, each was different in its own way and each experience at the respective camp was unique. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Big 5 to anyone wishing to book a safari holiday. In terms of your rating for our holiday I would give you a 10 without hesitation.

Sossusvlei is a natural wonder with stunning views in all directions - arrive at sunrise for outstanding photo opportunities!!

I just wanted to thank you once again for all the time and effort you put into making our holiday in Namibia such a fantastic experience. Our passionate and delightful guide in Etosha had such knowledge of the reserve and what it had to offer including grasses, trees and special birds that were a privilege to see!
